1956 CHEVROLET 210 2DR

Beautiful 1956 Chevy 2 door 210 with a big block 454!! This car has a custom paint in Plum Purple with awesome ghost flames that change colors in the light. This beauty gets attention everywhere she goes, and sounds as good as she looks with the chrome outside exhaust!! The car has a custom interior in a deep Burgundy color trimed in the same color leather. Even the dash is custom leather and the special console to match, with small details like inprinted ghost flames, all very tastefully designed!! All carpets are great, all glass in windows are in very good condition. The door panels are great with a contrast of White and Burgundy to really show the interior off!! Headliner and sun visors are in very good condition!! It has a new Sony Xplode sound system with remote control and 210 watt speakers, with Sony amp for your listening enjoyment!! What a car!!! This car came from Texas and was an extremely nice car before anything was done. It has arrow straight body panels down both sides. Looking under the rear fenderwells and rear quarter panels reveals no rust or repairs. The headlight eyebrows are in good shape with no rust or bubbles. The frame and floor pans are rust free and as someone pointed out it looks like a ten year old car underneath. The trunk pan is in good shape and the spare tire well is perfect also. All chrome is in good shape, it looks as though the hood ornament and the parking lights assemblies have been replated, with the grille and bumpers have been replaced. The only negative I can see is the right front bumper guard is starting to peel a little chrome, which can easily be replaced. The car has a nostalgic look with the new chrome reverse wheels and the side exhaust. It could be easily updated by installing something like Torque Thrust II wheels and removing the side exhaust and installing Flowmasters. The trans crossmember is configured to handle 3" exhaust already. With two sets of wheels and two sets of exhaust you could even change it back and forth, depending on where you wanted to go with the car!!! As we stated before, the interior is in great shape, has padded dash, the headliner, sun visors, package shelf and door panels are all great and very nicly done!!! It has a custom built console containing the shifter, oil presure and water temp gauges, the front sound system speakers and rocker switches. The seats are well done, near perfect shape and just the right amount of padding. The carpet is in near perfect shape also. The heater controls and heater are all there, but not connected to the engine. The Grant steering wheel and the Sun tach add a nostalgic look also, but the sound system is anything but nostalgic, what a sound!!!! Here is an outline of the mech details of the car, 454 block bored .060 to 468 decked and squared, TRW .250 dome forged pistons, Speed Pro moly rings, ARP rod and main cap bolts, high capacity oil pump, 8 qt oil pan, .574/.578 lift cam, roller timing chain and Edelbrock aluminum front cover, March Billet pulleys, Hooker Super Comp headers, gear reduction starter, oval port heads ported and polished, new 2.19 intake and 1.88 exhaust valves, new guides and exhaust seats, new springs, titanium retainer and 10 degree locks, roller rocker arms and 7/16 push rods, Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake 454-0, 850 cfm Street Demon carb and electric fuel pump, MSD Billet dist and ignition, Turbo 400 transmission, B&M 2500 Hole Shot converter, trans has 2:75 split planetary, hi-volume pump, heavy duty sprag, trick shift kit and B&M mega shifter, rear end is a 1966 GTO with 3.73 posi-trac 10 bolt, aluminum Be Cool radiator, dual 11" hi torque puller fans, front disc brakes, new master cylinder and proportioning valve and new brake lines, new shocks with air shocks on rear, new wheels and tires, trunk mounted battery with cutoff switch, new gas tank. As you can see this is a very nice car with nothing spared either in the engine and drive line or the body work and interior!!!
